Lollapalloza 2011

Summary

Front-end web development for the webcast schedule module. Another developer provided a JSON file file that I wrote a script in Javascript to parse and display the list of scheduled performances. Hovering over the calendar icon displayed a tooltip with links to add that performance to your calendar. This was a little tricky, since the module that I worked on was embedded via iframe, so the tooltips towards the top or bottom would get cut off. To fix this issue, I wrote some conditional logic, that if the hover event was in the top 15% of the div, it would adjust the positioning of the tooltip so it didn't display outside of the iframe.
